Pretty much the same bento as the last one, but with the addition of a simple tomato pasta with sweet chorizo. One of my new year’s bento resolutions is to pack more nutritious, filling foods. I have yet to make my first bento of 2014. Hope everyone’s new year is off to a good start!
Since yesterdays bento was practically identical to wednesdays, and I’m not sure when I’ll next be having one, I thought that I’d post some bentos I made before creating this blog. So here’s the first one. Pointing out the obvious, by creating a bento that states it’s a bento haha. I really liked this one actually. Brown long grain rice, adorned with red pepper lettering and a little red pepper star. Chicken seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder, sauteed in olive oil, garnished with a lemon wedge for a little extra burst of flavour. In the cupcake case is a warm balsamic vinegar tomato and onion salad, and beneath that (hidden) are green beans seasoned with a little nutmeg. Simple, healthy and delicious.
